Take Control of Your Mental Health One Day at a Time with Mental Mixology

Since our inception in July 2022, Mental Mixology has been on a mission to transform the way our community views and manages mental wellness. What began as an intimate weekly podcast has blossomed into a registered nonprofit organization rooted right here in Sedalia. We recognized early on that while mental health struggles are universal, the resources and open dialogue required to navigate them are often fragmented or difficult to find. Mental Mixology was founded to bridge that gap, serving as a beacon of education, support, and community connection.

Our foundation is built on three core pillars: Education, Resource Accessibility, and Community Engagement. We understand that mental health is a "mix" of various life factors—environment, biology, and circumstance. Through our weekly podcast, we dive into these complexities, hosting insightful conversations that provide listeners with real-world tools and professional perspectives. Beyond the digital space, we are active on the ground, hosting mental health-focused events designed to drive awareness, reduce stigma, and inject a sense of positivity and hope into our local culture.

As we continue to grow, our Foundation Team—a dedicated group of local volunteers—works tirelessly to ensure that our impact is tangible and immediate. We pride ourselves on a commitment to total transparency and local stewardship: 100% of all funds donated to Mental Mixology go directly back into the community. These funds allow us to host public educational seminars, distribute mental health resources, and create safe spaces for dialogue through our community-wide events.

By partnering with Mental Mixology, you are doing more than making a charitable donation; you are becoming a stakeholder in our city's mental resilience. We invite you to join us in our effort to bring mental health out of the shadows and into the mainstream, ensuring that every member of our community has the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

We Aren't Just a Podcast.

The Mental MixologyFoundation directly fuels our mission to bring mental health out of the shadows and into the light. Being a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization allows us to meet people exactly where they are by providing on-the-spot resource tables at local schools, workplaces, and community events to spark life-saving conversations. Beyond education, these funds empower us to partner with the community to host high-impact local events, workshops, and fundraisers that turn isolation into connection. Additionally, your support ensures easy access to our comprehensive virtual mental health resource library at www.mentalmixology.org, helping every neighbor find the personalized "mix" of solutions that best fits them.

Check us out on Facebook and Instagram to see what's going on in the community. @mentalmixology.
